Hello. I just wanted to offer a bit of transparency into recent changes made on April 18th, 2024 to this website’s WordPress platform. I added a small tracking script to the website. I am using the Plausible self-hosted platform to collect some basic information about visitors. This will help me determine website engagement as well as where clicks are originating from.
Your privacy is very important to me, so the following will remain true:
- The data is held private and will not be shared with any third-party
- The data is self-hosted and not hosted on a third-party hosting platform
- The data is anonymous and does not capture cookies or user data outside of:
- IP address
- Country (based on IP address)
- Pages visited
- Browser/OS/screen size used
- How long pages were interacted with
